由马来西亚皇帽集团赞助主办、《南洋商报》及《中国报》联办的十大义演，与华校风雨同路30年，一路走来，一步一脚印，走过一个又一个的里程碑，缔造一个亿又一个亿的辉煌记录。
马来西亚的华文教育迄今已有近200年的历史，经历过无数的风雨波折、起落浮沉，尽管在客观环境中面对不利的因素，华校仍然蓬勃发展，充分展现了华社支持华教的凝聚力，以及华教坚韧不拔的生命力。
《南洋商报》今年迈入93周年，《中国报》则欢庆70周年，十大义演30年来不但见证了华教在大马的蓬勃发展，更通过两报显著的篇幅，表扬热心人士对华教的无私奉献，我们也知道，每一张亮眼的筹款成绩单，背后有无数默默付出的一群。
2016年会是相当严峻的一年。就算经济再坏，华社投注在华教的心力肯定不会消减，因为唯有教育，才能振兴一个民族、一个国家。华教路上没有一年是顺遂的，华校却风雨无阻继续前进。在华校发展的重大日子里，少不了十大义演的参与。如今十大义演迎向30周年，同样少不了受惠学校及历届歌手的参与，让今晚的推介仪式更具意义。
南洋报业集团特别感谢马来西亚皇帽集团这30年来对十大义演的鼎力支持，感谢各校领导人的信任和歌手们的表演，共同成就了十大义演30年的光辉，让《南洋商报》和《中国报》能继续为华教发展献一分力。

Top 10 Charity Roadshows had successfully raised millions of Ringgit for Chinese schools in the country. The roadshow has since 1987 become the main fund raising platform for Chinese schools and also a perfect training ground for many successful singing artistes in the country.
The Chinese community has given their all-out supports to this fund raising campaign, even during economic downturns, which enabled the roadshows to achieve RM100 millions in total funds raised in September 1996. Subsequently, the Kuantan roadshow in 2003 achieved the RM200 millions record, and the Kluang roadshow raised the bar to RM300 millions. All these relentless efforts show that the Chinese community strongly supports the development of Chinese schools.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to the continuous full support from Carlsberg Malaysia that made this event a success over the last 26 years. As the RM400 millions target is expecting to be achieved in 2013, we look forward to a fruitful and meaningful milestone of Top 10 Charity Show this year.
