Top Ten Charity Campaign Achievements & Recognitions
Carlsberg Malaysia believes in “Sharing with the community unconditionally”, had over the years listed Top Ten Charity Campaign as one of the key annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) community projects. Being the driver and facilitator of the charity fund raising campaign for local Chinese education, Carlsberg Malaysia has invested millions of ringgit in funding the operation and show production of this campaign to ensure our continuous supporting role in contributing towards the development of Chinese education in Malaysia.
In 2001, Top Ten Charity Campaign for its very first time ever had been honoured as the “Longest Running Chinese Charity Show” by Malaysia Book of Records. In 2008, Top Ten Charity Campaign was celebrating its 21st Anniversary and relisted this record in December.
In 2009, Top Ten Charity Campaign received its second Malaysia Book of Records as the “Highest Fund Raised through Chinese Charity Shows” in Malaysia with the total funds raised of RM 335.9 million for over 560 Chinese schools and institutions.
In 2011, the Top Ten Charity Campaign under its flagship of the CSR Community project, won the Carlsberg Group Award “We are engaged with society” and continue to be the role model of other group companies in giving back to the society.
